[gpfsug-discuss] struct dirent d_type for fifos on gpfs

[IBM Spectrum Scale]

This is expected.   GPFS readdir only support d_type: DT_REG, DT_DIR and 
DT_LNK.   All other type will be returned as DT_UNKNOWN.
